Hilarious Epic Fails of Rejected Star Wars Merch

PROVING THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU SLAP “STAR WARS” ON A PRODUCT DOESN’T MEAN IT’S NOT CRAP.

This is what happens when merchandising falls to the dark side.

Fellow Prop Freaks, we’ve all been there. Whether it’s for a pen with crazy rubber pom-poms on top that looks like Boba Fett or a round tooth pick holder in the shape of R2, sometimes our love of the galaxy’s greatest film overtakes common sense and we end up with a dozen pairs of lightsaber chopsticks that DON’T even light up (really??).

But, even as slap-happy as Lucasfilm sometimes gets with the ol SW logo, even THEY have limits. So, we’re thankful that our good friend Jason “Toy Otter” Geyer over at Action Figure Insider (www.actionfigureinsider.com) shared some of his best, non-produced (but hilariously awesome) concepts for some of the greatest merch, never before seen in the galaxy.

Check out some of our faves below, then after you get done laughing, HEAD ON OVER TO OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and tell us what’s your favorite unproduced product.
